“A Boy Named Sue”

May 19, 2015
Sue’s father,
Hey mister! Your son Sue was angry and shamed because of his name. He vow to the moon and to the stars that he will kill the man who gave him that name. Sue suffered humiliation. Your son really hated you! The vow he made was about to became true.
When Sue went to Gatlinburg, did you noticed it was him before he told you? He knew it was you, because the photos he had watch. He recognize you because of the scar on your cheek. Do you remember your son Sue? How did you reacted when he said “My name is ‘Sue’”?
I think it was better to start a talk, instead of starting a fight. Why you decide to start a fight? Why you attack Sue? Did you doubt it was your son? Why you cut a piece of his ear? Were you afraid of what he was capable of do? How was that fight?  You started with any purpose?
Your son needed a role model, but he didn’t had it. He was a problem child because of that. Did you ever though that those things would happened? Did you ever thought of changing Sue’s name?  Did your father abandon you? Why you decide to leave your son and his mother? How was the feeling after telling the true to Sue? Did he forgive immediately? How is you relationship know? Will you go back in time to change all what happen? I will like your answer my questions. I wrote a poem of the story of your son and you. I hope you guys like it.
Hey mister!
Your son Sue was angry and shamed
because of his name.
He vow to the moon and to the stars
to kill the man
who gave him that name.
Poor Sue,
he suffered humiliation.
Your son really hated you!

The vow he made was about to became true!
How did you reacted when he said “My name is ‘Sue’”?
Did you noticed it was him before he told you?
He knew it was you
‘cause the photos he had watch.
He recognize you because of your cheek scar.
. Do you remember your son Sue?
I think it was better to start a talk,
instead of starting a fight.

Why a fight?
Why attack?
Why the ear?
Why a knife?
Why blood?
Why laugh?
Not a beer?
Not a talk?
You want him back?

He forgive!
What a relief!
No more knifes.
No more guns.
Both won.
Everything is done.
Wish you guys
A grate life!
Don’t name Sue your next man.
Sincerely,
Coralys Rosa-Marcano
